Following their meeting in July, the Sheffield Lab are getting back together in person to explore what a Basic Income pilot could look like in Sheffield.

From the start of UBI Lab Sheffield, one of their main ambitions has been to test a Basic Income in the city. On 27 September, they're going to start planning what a pilot in Sheffield could look like. If you're interested in how it might work and where it could lead to, they’d love you to be part of the conversation.

They're going to be meeting at the Opus Independents (the organisation that incubates the Lab Network) office at Portland Works to keep costs down.

For this meet-up, they'll have a presentation on some of the Basic Income experiments that have taken place around the world, followed by an update on where they’re up to in Sheffield. Then they'll be plenty of time for questions and a discussion on what kind of pilot everyone would like to see in the city. The meeting will be from 6pm to 8pm.

They'll also have an option for people to join us by Zoom.
