Poverty and inequality has been growing and the current economic system does not provide people with the security they need. Churches and other groups have been plugging the gaps with food banks and charity - but the problems keep growing.

Dr Duffy will argue that it is time to consider radical change. We need to provide collective security through a basic income for everyone and the Church needs to change its approach to poverty and start to address the problems that cause poverty and inequality.
